After a crash on the road into Silent Hill, Harry Mason's adopted daughter Cheryl vanishes into the mist. Searching the deserted, monster-haunted town, he uncovers a cult — The Order — and the ritual burning of a psychic child, Alessa, meant to birth their god. This is where the town's nightmare begins.

Silent Hill 2
A letter from a wife who died three years ago calls James back to Silent Hill.
James Sunderland receives a letter from Mary, his late wife, saying she's waiting for him in their 'special place.' The town answers his grief with a nightmare shaped to his guilt — and with Pyramid Head, the executioner he built to punish himself. No cult, no god here: only what James can't forgive.

The fog leaves America for the first time — and settles over 1960s Japan.
In the remote 1960s town of Ebisugaoka, teenager Hinako Shimizu must survive as fog and a grotesque, flower-like horror consume her community. Written by Ryukishi07 (Higurashi), it's the first mainline entry set entirely in Japan, chasing 'beauty in terror.' Whether it touches the wider Silent Hill mythos is left unconfirmed.

Silent Hill: Townfall
A man keeps waking on a Scottish shore in 1996 — with no idea how the town has hold of him.
Simon Ordell comes to on the docks of St. Amelia — a fictional Scottish coastal town in 1996 — and must piece together fragments of the past to understand his link to the place, guided by a pocket CRT that warns him of danger. It is a first-person spin-off from Screen Burn Interactive (formerly No Code, of Observation). What it has to do with Silent Hill is the question no one can answer yet.
